Brenda Shadoan is a life-long friend of Jesus who was blessed with a strong family heritage of Christ followers, pastors, and missionaries.  Her life journey has been shaped by a desire to love her Lord with her whole heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mk 12:29-30).  She holds a Bachelors in Christian Education & Administration, and a Masters of Religion.  Her eclectic career has included professional ministry, working as an editor for a Christian publishing company, office administration in various industries, and currently, as a Sales Incentives Analyst for a pharmaceuticals company.  The invitation from my dear sister in Christ[B1] , Viva, to join her in developing a program to disciple women leaders was a gift – and a challenge – from God.  I am a ‘quiet’ soul who prefers being behind the scenes, or working one to one with people.  But this is not the first time in our years of sharing life together that God has used Viva to kick me out of my solitude and encourage me through her passion.  My prayer for all of us is that as we all seek to know God and live together in His presence that the love we experience will so transform us that the world will take notice and embrace His transforming power themselves.
