Melisa Davis, second year team leader, was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  She became a Christian at a young age and as a teenager felt God's call to pastoral ministry.  In 2007 she graduated with her Masters of Divinity degree, with a focus in cross-cultural leadership and church planting from the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary and Trinity Western Seminary. 2007 was also the year she married her husband Mac.  Melissa has been part of several short-term missions assignments in various parts of the world.  She currently serves on the pastoral staff of Spring Branch Community Church in Virginia Beach.  She is passionate about discipleship and worshiping God in everyday moments.   Mac and Melissa live in Virginia Beach, Virginia USA with their German Shepherd dog Tori.
